Matron of Honor: Jenny Howe
- How long have you known Heather and where did you first meet? Gosh, I’ve known Heather since we were kids. We lived in the same neighborhood and went to school together: elementary school through college. We became best friends towards the end of middle school beginning of high school
- Describe Heather in three words or less. Only 3 words! 🙁 Caring, sincere, and intelligent (loyal, giving, and honest)
- Did you honestly think Heather would ever get married? Heather and I had this conversation, maybe not directly, but the fact that you can’t find a decent guy out there and where would you find him. She went through some frogs to find her prince.
- What is the most embarrassing story you have about Heather? Wow! Heather and I have been through a lot! There are more stories than I can count! Many times it involved a foot and inserting it into her mouth! Gee, I would have to say a cold, winter night at Girl Scout camp. A dare, a question, and an answer. Enough said! Or the one time she came back to work from a bathroom break and she had a wardrobe malfunction. Or the time we had to put her to bed because she had too many libations one night! Or the time…Ok I will stop!
- Who do you think is going to start crying at the wedding first, Heather or Nathan? Ummm…definitely Nathan!
- Will Heather and Nathan’s first child be a boy or a girl? A girl! Named Jennifer Lynne…just kidding!
- How many kids do you think they should have? 2…it is the right amount so you can have a sibling for them to play with! And you’re not outnumbered 🙂
- Do you have any name suggestions for their kids? Yep, Nicholas David Dean Bishop for a boy and well, I suggested the girl. 🙂 For a girl, I think Sylvia for the middle name, Kennedy Sylvia May Bishop (I got the family thing going on for you!)
- What advice do you have for Nathan concerning Heather? Treat Heather like a queen. She deserves someone like you who will take care of her. There is nothing that I would not do for Heather. She is always there for anyone in need, so Nathan please do the same for her. She is a sister to me, and I want all the happiness in the world for her. Take good care of her; you are her family now! Oh, and let her visit her friends! 🙂
- What advice do you have for both of them after they are married? Be spontaneous! Sometimes getting into routines can be boring. And don’t forget to surprise each other from time to time. Romance is always good!!! And don’t roll your eyes when you ask each other to do something…just do it! And don’t argue over those little things; it really isn’t worth it! And laugh often!!!!!!
Best Man: Craig Gibson
- How long have you known Nathan and where did you first meet? I met Nathan back in High School. Our friendship began to take root in Chemistry class, I was his lab partner. We enjoyed seeing what foolishness we could talk the rookie teacher into. When she successfully sent a ceiling tile into the plenum with an explosive reaction, we knew we had something special going. We spent most of the year focusing more on discussions about movies and comic books and very little time was spent on Chemistry. I came to really appreciate his different interests and perspectives.

- How many kids do you think they should have? At least a dozen. It increases the odds of success.
- Do you have any name suggestions for their kids? Short Round.
- What advice do you have for Heather concerning Nathan? He is easily distracted by small shiny objects, toys, or laser pointers. Keep at least one handy at all times. Be careful not to combine all 3 into a single object, it will set his expectations way too high for the future.
- What advice do you have for both of them after they are married? Be patient with each other and always try to consider the other person’s needs before yourself. You clearly won’t succeed at this all the time, but the more you do it, the better it will go overall.
